I
MARRIED YOU
A
Two-Act Drama
by Philip M.
Bickel
Copyright 2005
Adapted from the book I
Married You
by Walter Trobisch
PURPOSE AND STRATEGY
- "I Married You" deals with the
universal topic of dating and marriage, while also
portraying the Gospel of Jesus Christ in dramatic
fashion.
- Since "I Married You" includes
actors of both African and European descent, staging the
drama will be a unique opportunity for people from
different cultures to work shoulder to shoulder for the
sake of proclaiming the Gospel (Zephaniah 3:9-10).
- To obtain copies of the script and
permission to perform the drama, contact Quiet Waters
Publications, the publishing arm of Family Life Mission,
at www.quietwaterspub.com or QWP@usa.net
- It is suggested that a portion of
ticket sale proceeds be donated to AIDS relief in
Africa.
