I MARRIED YOU

A Two-Act Drama

by Philip M. Bickel

Copyright 2005

Adapted from the book I Married You

by Walter Trobisch

PURPOSE AND STRATEGY

  1. "I Married You" deals with the universal topic of dating and marriage, while also portraying the Gospel of Jesus Christ in dramatic fashion.
  2. Since "I Married You" includes actors of both African and European descent, staging the drama will be a unique opportunity for people from different cultures to work shoulder to shoulder for the sake of proclaiming the Gospel (Zephaniah 3:9-10).
  3. To obtain copies of the script and permission to perform the drama, contact Quiet Waters Publications, the publishing arm of Family Life Mission, at www.quietwaterspub.com or QWP@usa.net
  4. It is suggested that a portion of ticket sale proceeds be donated to AIDS relief in Africa.
